Abdominal ultrasound at Primea Polyclinic in Belgrade is a painless, non-invasive procedure evaluating the structure and condition of internal abdominal organs. The physician uses an ultrasound probe to examine the liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, and urinary bladder. The scan identifies gallstones, kidney stones, cysts, organomegaly, or abdominal fluid accumulation. A written diagnostic report with clinical recommendations is provided. Recommended for abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, urinary issues, unexplained weight loss, or preventive annual screening. Fasting for 4 to 6 hours prior to the scan and drinking water to maintain a full bladder is required for optimal visualization.
