The Internal Medicine Laboratory Panel at Primea Polyclinic in Belgrade is a comprehensive biochemical and hematological blood screening designed for adults to assess systemic organ function.
The panel includes a complete blood count (5-part differential), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and fasting serum glucose. It measures liver enzymes (ALT, AST, GGT, ALP), kidney function indicators (urea, creatinine), serum iron, a complete lipid panel, serum electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium), and routine urinalysis.
These tests are recommended as part of an annual physical check-up, preoperative internal medicine preparation, or when investigating chronic fatigue, general malaise, metabolic symptoms, or high blood pressure.
Patients should arrive in the morning after a 10- to 12-hour fast (plain water is allowed) and bring a first-morning urine sample in a sterile container.
