The Basic Cardiology Package at Primea Polyclinic in Belgrade is intended for evaluating general cardiovascular health and the early diagnosis of potential changes. The package includes a cardiologist consultation and examination, an ECG, and an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound). Based on these assessments, the doctor evaluates the structure and function of the heart muscle, and the patient receives a written report, an explanation of results, and recommendations for therapy and potential follow-up visits. An annual preventive examination is recommended, as well as an immediate visit upon experiencing symptoms such as occasional chest stabbing or tightness, elevated blood pressure, palpitations, or shortness of breath during exertion. No special preparation is needed; for maximum comfort, wearing loose two-piece clothing is advised so the physician can easily access the chest for the ECG and ultrasound.
