These tests provide insight into the pregnant woman's overall health, help detect anemia and iron deficiency, monitor blood glucose levels, and identify possible urinary tract infections, which may be present during pregnancy even in the absence of noticeable symptoms.These tests are recommended as part of routine laboratory monitoring throughout pregnancy, in accordance with the gynecologist's recommendations and the individual needs of the pregnant woman. Their purpose is to identify potential changes in a timely manner that could affect the mother's health and the healthy progression of the pregnancy.Preparation for laboratory testing: It is recommended to arrive in the morning after fasting for 8–12 hours, while drinking water as usual, unless otherwise instructed by your doctor or the laboratory. For the urine sample, collect a fresh, midstream sample of the first morning urine in a sterile container, following proper intimate hygiene.
