Service DescriptionThe 24-Hour Holter ECG Monitoring and Interpretation at Primea Polyclinic in Belgrade is designed for continuous and precise monitoring of heart rhythm and cardiac electrical activity throughout day and night. This diagnostic procedure involves attaching a small recording device with electrodes to the chest to continuously record cardiac rhythm during everyday activities, physical exertion, and sleep. After 24 hours, the monitor is removed, and the cardiologist conducts a detailed review of the recording to identify any arrhythmias or abnormalities, followed by a written report, consultation, and therapy recommendations. It is recommended for ongoing monitoring of cardiac function and immediately upon symptoms such as unexplained heart palpitations, fluttering, dizziness, lightheadedness, syncope (fainting), or intermittent chest pain. No special preparation is needed; for comfort and electrode adherence, wearing loose clothing is recommended, and avoiding getting the device wet (no showering) during the recording period is essential. Patients are advised to keep to their normal daily routine.
